Synopsis

F--K Fear is the story of a woman, mother of 2 sons, divorcing a psychopath and rebuilding her life from total devastation, debt (over $250K in 1976 which is over $1,1M adjusted for inflation) to becoming the Option Queen. Women have been told for years that money and building wealth is not for them. Building a successful career or business is for their brother, not for them. This book is about establishing a career, building wealth, creating economic freedom and helping women understand that they can do the same for themselves and their families. Women have been socialized to think of money as the purview of men and that it is masculine. Women will come to understand that being a woman in business is an advantage. The Option Queen will weave a powerful tale of true stories of her rise from the pits (Trading Pits) to financial freedom. Your target reader wants to know that other women have not only survived but thrived to have a great life.

Every woman needs clarity on the Pay Gap, Investment Gap, the Racial Wealth Gap and the Credit Gap to make better informed money decisions. All these Gaps impact how women earn, save, invest and spend their money. She is looking for solutions to compensate for the Gaps.

When it comes to the Investment Gap, women own 32 cents of investable assets for every dollar a man owns. Women tend to outlive their male counterparts by six to eight years. The good news is we live longer, the bad news is the amount of money women need in retirement to meet the needs of these additional years including the increased health cost burdens women carry. The Pay Gap for white women is 82 cents for every dollar a man earns doing the same job so we need to invest and save more of our salary than men just to be investing the same dollar amount. Black women earn 62 cents for every dollar a white male earns. With the wealth gap, pay gap, investment gap that exists between men and women, working women need to become their own advocate in all financial situations. Nobody is going to protect your ass(ets) as well as each woman will do for herself.

Women will come to understand the power and strength they have in being women. That with our guts, wits, brains and strength we will succeed. That doesn't mean that there are not lessons to be learned but we are fast learners and will not be deterred. We have courage and grit, I Bet on Myself and won so can you!
