About the author

m a pharmacist in Eastern Europe, who is a great fan of SF and fantasy, but my favorite genre is military SF, so I decided to write my own series.

I was inspired by SF gems like: Armoured Troops Votons, Code Geass, Star Wars, the Lost Fleet and my personal favorite, the series which i cannot get enough off: Legend of Galactic Heroes.

But the main inspiration for me to write was Sir Terry Pratchet's Discworld and George Mcdonald Frasier's Flashman.

So, inspired by great series and two titans I set out to create my own story.

Synopsis

The main gap in the market is that audiances are starved for stories in the style of lighhearted adventures with dark moments, similar to Star Wars and classic Star Trek, Legenf of the Galactic Heroes and Discworld.

My book has taken heavy influence from all 3 of them and provides fans of those series a new medium to epxerience similar stories to the ones they love.

I am the one to bring about this new mega franchise because I first and foremost write these stories for myself. If i consider a chapter of page being boring or needing work, I return to it and polish it untill it shines with an memorable scene or character

The starving SF community for series similar to SW, Star Trek and Discworld
Many popular indie authors including Pennie Mae Cartawick, and Howard Lipman have given glowing reviews to my book.
There is a major trend now that indie books, indie games and indie movies are of higher quality than mainstream movies, this can be used to help market the book and provide free exposure by using the indie market to break into the mainstream.

Similar titles

The Lost Fleet- John G Hemry. Similar in the concept that a fleet fights against impossible odds to survive, but my conflicts are greater in scale and the added benefit of magic gives more creative possibilites as well as more licensing oportunities.
Discworld- The Colour of Magic- Terry Pratchet- The dry style and black humour, but in my book there is a pause in the humour for the war scenes and the shift to the horrors of war, this gives the humour even more value as levity in these troubled times.
Legend of the Galactic Heroes-Yoshiki Tanaka- The space battles in here are all donne to resemble real life military campaigns, so are the ones in my book, but the sheer spectacle is even more in mine by the fact that the conflict in Legend is between 1o to 100.000 ships at it's peak, in my book that is but a small fraction of the ships available to every beligerent nation. Also in Legens there are two main opposing factions, while in my books there would be 3.

Audience

The book is aimed towards a general audience of both men and women, with the 8 to 12 demographic as the main target. It fullfills the desire for a new epic series for today's youth that Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Star Wars and Star Trek fullfilled previously,
