About the author

I was the black sheep. I was the one always in some sort of trouble. The weird brother. I was the one living life large in New Orleans. My sister seemed the normal one - the good girl - the one who never did anything wrong or got in any sort of trouble.

But that's not the end of the story. In a funny twist of fate - I ended up the normal one. The logical one. Now - as the younger brogther - I have become the wise one - the one who "always get's it right". I hate hearing - you told me so.

My dear older sister - I do love her. But - her life is moving from crisis to crisis - and if a real crisis does not exist - she will create one - then her day is perfect.

Synopsis

Having a sister who is a martyr is both entertaining and madening. The thing is - I don't think I'm alone with a sibling who challenges their love for them. Do I block her on my cell phone - often yes. Do I regret it when I unblock her - yes indeed. She's my older sister - but sometimes it seems I'm the older one. She's all I have left of my family, I love her, but I have to wonder - does this peputal black cloud follow her around or is it self created. She claims to be a private person - yet - announces her trials and tribulations like the 6:00 PM news. Her day is not complete without a crisis and if a real one does not - then she will create one. I was once considered the black sheep - yet - as it turned out - I'm really the normal one. Crazy - love.
