Synopsis

Defense Intelligence Agency operative-Nolan Rowe, is in Brazil, trying to find out why his friend, and fellow operative was murdered, and what he was doing in Brazil.

Nolan infiltrates a Brazilian prison, to break out the last person who saw his friend alive. After doing so, he learns his friend was searching for the identity of a Brazilian general, who was planning an assassination of a pro-US Brazilian presidential candidate, which would be followed by a coup. Unable to figure out which general it is, he only is able to learn that the general had organized a death race in the Amazon jungle, where anonymous wealthy gamblers can bet on the race. He also learns that the one who murdered his friend, is one of the competitors in the race, and who the general is betting on. With no other options, Nolan finds a way to take the place of one of the competitors, and insert himself in the race.

In the race, he is forced to use all his skills, and instincts to survive, and hold off competitors who are willing to kill to win. Nolan will have to play his cards very well to know who is hiding behind this whole plot.

Sales arguments

Protagonist's character is intriguing with an unusual background, bringing a strong connection with the readers.
It has twists, and turns, that will have the reader trying to guess who is good and who is bad.
The race through the Amazon provides for plenty of adrenaline pumping scenes.
The book will have huge movie potential. It is a blockbuster, that is also thoughtful.
