M.J. Sutton is a creative fiction writer of horror and fantasy, devoting the majority of his life to his craft. His first short story entitled "God" will be published in the April 2016 edition of Blood Moon Rising Magazine.

His current project "Plight Of Adam" has been a work in progress sense 2015 with D.D Mathis while he worked away from his family in the oilfield, recently deciding to come home and devote himself fully to its completion. He lives at home in central Texas with his loving wife and three children.

I have been a creative mind my entire life, and have a digital media design college background. I have done everything from music recording, to mastering, animation, (2d and 3d) game creation, marketing, website design, and of course writing which has always been my passion. I have had poetry and short stories published. When im not writing I am spending time with my children or throwing boxes at my day job.
I teamed up with Dwight Mathis for this project that we started in 2015, we quickly realized that we had much more to offer than just an Ebook, and the story took flight. Once this project is completed we have more projects that are lined up, the next one will be the biggest project I will have ever worked on.

D.D. Mathis is a full-time creative director for RightMark Studios, a new film and animation company based in The Colony, TX. He's preparing for the release of the studios first short film, "KelDog" on May 4, 2016. He has a knack for bringing literature to life with authenticity fueling the direction. Together with M.J Sutton, they've created a world that will blanket the audience in a gut twisting surrealism. With a background in film direction, Dwight adds a cinematic approach, while the helm of the story is released from M.J Sutton's dark and twisted fingers. The perfect mix.
He lives in The Colony, TX with his wife Alexandria and dog Canon.

"Plight Of Adam" is an illustrated compelling story which redefines Heaven and Hell. It was quite a task to do this but the process was amazingly entertaining and we thoroughly enjoyed it.
A rebellious teenage is sucked into playing an old pagan ritual called "The Midnight Man." which takes him to a terrifying and unknown world where he must find his way back home. He soon finds out that he is in fact in the realm of Heaven, and that he himself is a demon. As with any good story, love is involved and he falls for an Angel that he finds he must destroy in order to return home. Battling his own demons in his mind, he makes his decision and kills his Angel lover which allows his fellow demons to enter Heaven. Regretting his choice, he takes the side of the angels and fights the demons back.
With an electric cast of angels he now must venture into the depths of hell, and destroy the one demon who caused all of this, and fix the mistake that he has made.
Follow Adam, as he ventures to hell and back, on an adventure that is terrifying, sexy and entertaining, that proves that even a demon can decide to do right.
Being a Novella, there really isn't any chapter breaks, but scene breaks. Being 35,000 words the project is still a good length, but is shorter than what is considered a novel.
The audience for this book is geared for Young Adult. Violence, terror, sex and vulgarity are found throughout, and is the perfect read for anyone wanting to escape the regularity of every day life, and immerse themselves in an entertaining world that forces you to push the limits of what good and evil really is.
I currently operate an author website, and I have a loyal local following that will promote the project through word of mouth and social media. Utilizing the funds generated in the campaign we plan on using an aggressive online presence to promote the project. Multiple videos will be created to increase the buzz for this unique story and will appear on multiple websites, and online communities. We will push the Ebook on various platforms (Amazon, IBooks, Blurb. etc) as well as the hard copy of the book.
